These workers are wage earners and do not have any other source of income. These laborers are employed by the labor contractors appointed by the Real Estate Developers. The crisis caused by the total lockdown to avoid Corona Virus spread, all activities in the construction site have been suspended and made the condition of these site workers miserable. Many such laborers who are from nearby villages have fled fearing that they will not be able to buy food for themselves.
